Clear, transparent, and innovative regulatory frameworks are essential to scale the future of our digital economy. With this objective, the NEAR Foundation is joining the Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI) – the premier global industry alliance promoting the potential of crypto and Web3. This partnership highlights both organizations’ commitment to use their collective expertise to advocate for Web3’s transformative implications and communicate its benefits to policymakers, regulators, and people worldwide.
In addition to joining CCI as a member, the NEAR Foundation will also be anchoring CCI’s first coalition of select blockchain protocols/infrastructure companies. This coalition aims to be a unifying force for the Web3 industry, providing essential support and advocacy to amplify the impact and reach of individual protocols.
“We are excited to welcome the NEAR Foundation to our alliance, as they bring their expertise and strong commitment to our shared vision of responsibly shaping the transformative potential of Web3,” said Sheila Warren, CEO of CCI and advisor to the NEAR Foundation Council — the equivalent of its board of directors.
Marieke Flament, CEO of the NEAR Foundation, stated: “Joining CCI reflects our dedication to promoting an open, secure, and transformative crypto ecosystem, in line with our recently-announced Policy Principles. We look forward to contributing to the development of forward-thinking policies, collaborating with regulators and industry stakeholders, and driving impactful change in the global blockchain space, while adhering to our guiding principles of openness, decentralization, interoperability, user empowerment, and responsible governance.”
